For as long as I can remember I have always kept my perfumes in a drawer or stored away somewhere for the sake of space. Apartment living was no joke when it came to storage space and unfortunately my beautiful perfume bottles had to suffer! You can imagine how overjoyed I was when we moved into a bigger space last summer and I finally had enough space to work with (What can I say? I have a lot of things, I am a woman!). After the last of the moving boxes were cleared out and the clothes finally made their way to the racks of my closet, I started to dive into organizing my jewelry and perfume. For the longest time my perfume bottles had just sat on top of my dresser in no particular organized fashion and that was just not okay with me. So fast forward to today and I am in the middle of re-doing my closet/office area and adding some feminine touches to my space. For a while now, I have been looking for a pretty perfume tray that would hold all of my favorite scents but I just couldn’t find anything I loved. When I was visiting my mom recently she asked me if I wanted this silver serving platter and at first thought I didn’t see a use for it until my wheels started turning and I realized I could use it for my perfume! After polishing it up, I realized it was absolutely perfect for all my perfume and it now adds the perfect feminine touch to the top of my dresser space. Sometimes I look for things in obvious places and never end up finding them, that is until I realize that there are always alternative uses for mostly anything around the house.
