{A good book and a cup of coffee is how I start my Saturday mornings}
I would be lying if I said that I did not thoroughly enjoy this past week. Between the canoe trip with my sister and nephews to finally getting to see my baby brother return home from his Middle East deployment, I couldn’t be happier! Yes, those mundane tasks at home might have taken a back seat this week but I relish in being able to enjoy moments in life and not necessarily marking tasks off of a To-Do list. As we are approaching the half way mark through August, I am still going full speed on enjoying my summer (Since July was so rainy I am making up for it now!). This weekend Drew and I will be heading downtown to one of our favorite summer time festivals in Columbus, the Food Truck Festival . Over the last couple years we have made it a tradition to go because, well, we are what you would call Foodies! We love food! I mean who doesn’t?! (Stay tuned for more on that!) Also in celebration of my brother coming home my family and I are all taking our boats out for a day on the water. Did I mention I absolutely love being on the water (I’m convinced I am part mermaid)? Here is to a lovely weekend! Happy Friday!
{A yearly summer tradition my sister and I share together-Canoeing!}
{Enjoying the local ribfest right down the street is always a summer favorite of mine}
{A trip to the water park wouldn’t be complete without some Sour Patch Kids Dippin’ Dots-Delish!}
{Nothing better than watching my favorite NFL team play in the Horseshoe}
