Let me first start off by saying, I know it has been a while since I posted and I am sincerely sorry! There has been a lot going on in my personal life and my blog has unfortunately taken a back seat. Every day that passed by without working on my blog made me sad. I love blogging, I love to inspire and that was really tough on me. Needless to say, I am back! Things are looking up from here and I am happy to jump back on the wagon, errrr, Ferrari! (A girl can dream, right?!)
So of course, here we are only 15 days til Christmas and I have to say I am feeling like Buddy the Elf right now (I’m just so excited!). The Christmas countdown is on! Over the past week and a half I have been transforming my home into a holiday oasis. There was only one small issue, I wasn’t loving the centerpiece that I had last year for my table and I needed something new. For the last week my dining room table has been without a centerpiece therefore collecting the dreaded junk mail (big pet peeve of mine). Enough was enough, I was tired of seeing my beautiful table collect mail and other odds and ends things; it was time to get creative. I ended up making a rather simple centerpiece that I will most likely be able to use after Christmas during the cold winter months. You only need a few things to create this centerpiece and luckily I had almost everything I needed at home.
{You’ll need two pillar candles. I used old ones I had from last year}
{I was going to use the white and gold but just decided to use the gold paint instead}
{I used an old cake stand that I had and bought these holly berry stems from Hobby Lobby}
{Get to spray painting!}
{The stems are bendable so it is very easy to twist and mold them into a circle}
{Voila! A simple holiday centerpiece}
