Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always gravitated towards things that were more girly or feminine. I even specifically remember a pageant I entered when I was only eight or nine years old, I didn’t win but insisted that my mom buy me my own tiara to wear (I was a dramatic one, that’s for sure!) But really what I would come to understand much later in my life is that I wanted to wear things that made me feel fabulous and wearing that tiara did just that.
Fast forward to my adult life, and no I don’t still wear my tiara, but I do make sure to include things in my wardrobe that make me feel like the best version of myself. While I have enough black blazers and tunics to supply my work wardrobe, I find joy in stocking my racks with items like this faux fur coat or a fun statement necklace. I feel that a woman can never have too many of these items because this is what defines our style, it tells our story and reflects our personal brand.
You can imagine my excitement when I came across this gem on one of my recent shopping trips. I loved everything about it, especially the fact that it was faux fur (I can’t get down with the real stuff) and the prettiest shade of pink!
