{One of my favorite summer food combinations: pulled pork & Mac-n-cheese}

I can’t believe we are entering into August this weekend! Where has the summer gone!? As most people begin to get the blues thinking about going back to school or summer vacations coming to an end, I begin to get excited! August has always been a month I look forward to for a few reasons, one being that it is my birthday month! Hello, who else celebrates all month!? Am I the only one? Another reason I love August is because it has always been the month that we go on vacation and we usually celebrate my birthday at the beach (who wouldn’t love that!) A bonus is that since my birthday falls near the end of August (Back-to-School time) we always score ridiculously low rates at the hotel. I highly recommend traveling during this time if you can because everything is a little less crowded. So, as I enter into this weekend I am going to try my very best to stay focused on things I need to accomplish before vacation because we all knows how fast time can fly by!
