Yay! It’s Friday! I feel like the week has crawled by. Maybe it is because I was so eager for the weekend as it is the Fashion Week Columbus Finale Runway show tomorrow. Last night I attended the Bridal Runway show where I was able to get some great inspiration for my upcoming wedding and see some incredibly unique bridal couture pieces. As if I haven’t mentioned it before, I love the fashion scene in Columbus. The designs that are featured during Fashion Week are so unique and one-of-a-kind. It makes me wish I would’ve followed my first passion and went to the Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD for the locals) to pursue a fashion major. At the time, I was unaware of the potential that Columbus had to be a fashion hub of sorts (Guess I was wrong!). Let this serve as a lesson for anyone out there looking to pursue a dream, go for it, even if everyone tells you it’s not realistic. After seeing the show last night and attending the shows in the past, I have come to realize that in fact this dream could have been realized for me long ago. The moral of this short story is to chase your dreams and never give up! Now back to finding an outfit for tomorrow night! Have a wonderful weekend!
