{Lazy mornings in bed complete with coffee and my ‘cat lady’ socks}
As of lately it seems as though my weeks have been filled with a little more stress than I’d like to have to deal with. Sometimes I wish I could just go back to being a kid when my only worries consisted of when we were heading to the pool or how many days until our family vacation commenced. Of course, if I were a child again I wouldn’t be able to enjoy some of the adult things in life such as a great cocktail with friends after work. With that being said, I am definitely looking for ways to shift my focus away from some of the more stressful things (Wedding planning, bills, did I mention bills?) in my life and instead looking at things in a different perspective. One of the things that I have been incorporating into my routine again is a fitness regimen. I know how much this helps with stress and mood enhancement so I am looking forward to seeing some positive changes coming my way. One thing I am looking forward to is the upcoming weekend, as this normally brings a sense of calmness to my otherwise hectic work week. This weekend Drew and I are visiting some friends for a little celebration (it’s kind of a secret so I can’t divulge much). and then we will most likely be taking it easy, ordering some Chinese take-out and watching some Netflix! (Party-gal over here!) Seriously though, as I get older I realize the relaxing moments are really the ones worth cherishing! Happy Friday!
