Fashion Week Columbus Finale Show // Part 1

On Saturday Fashion Week Columbus wrapped up the week long event with a finale runway show and of course I was in attendance! Do you honestly think I’d miss something like this? As always, the Fashion Week Columbus team out-did themselves with all of the weeks’ events. Everything from a stylish mixer to a High Tea to a Bridal Couture show, the week-long event had it all! This year the finale show had not one, but two headliners, Stevie Boi (you might know him from his wild, one-of-a-kind statement sunglasses worn by celebs like Lady Gaga and Beyonce. You can see more of his work here!) and David Tupaz (a couture designer who has dressed many of Hollywood’s A-Lister’s. You can see more of his work here!). These designers brought their raw talent and designs to the runway and awed the audience with one-of-a-kind pieces. Stevie Boi’s collection was raw and edgy; full of energy is really the best way to describe that collection. David Tupaz’s collection was all about the drama; he spared no details when designing the pieces for this collection. The collection was a mix of retro (think 50-60’s era) and stunning couture pieces. I literally could not take my eyes off of the runway during his show. The other seven designers were equally amazing, showcasing looks ranging from ready-to-wear fashions to feminine pieces that really paid tribute to women and their modern beauty. Because there were so many looks that I loved I am breaking this post up into two pieces! It was just too difficult trying to choose one or two pieces from each designer’s collection to share with you.
