This week I was lucky enough to attend the Fashion Week Columbus Launch Party that was hosted downtown at Park Street Saloon. I always love attending the Fashion Week Columbus events because it reminds me just how fashionable Columbus, Ohio really is! I mean seriously, did you know Columbus is #3 in the U.S. when it comes to fashion design? I find that totally awesome to be surrounded by some of the most creative, fashion-minded individuals. This year’s launch party was a little different from the ones that I have attended in previous years because this year they had a little surprise, an unveiling if you will, of their new brand and image (see below). It was out with the old (#CMHFashionWeek) and in with the new (#FashionWeekColumbus)! Inside the launch party were models showcasing some of the designers looks that will grace the runway this fall during the finale runway show. There was some couture gowns, some high-fashion looks, some ready-to-wear looks, and so much more. As a little surprise at the end of the party they announced who the headliners would be for this year and they are…drumroll…designer to the stars (opening the show), Stevie Boi, and closing the show will be Hollywood Red Carpet designer, David Tupaz. I seriously cannot wait to see what these designers come up with for this year’s finale show! In case you are wondering Fashion Week Columbus kicks off on October 4th and goes through October 10th.
