A few weeks ago I was out doing some Saturday afternoon shopping (my new favorite hobby on the weekends!) at one of my favorites stores, Old Navy. I didn’t have one particular item I was looking to buy therefore it resulted in me buying a bunch of stuff I didn’t need but my justification seemed worthy and that simply was, “it’s the spring and my wardrobe is lacking in color”. Since recently landing a job working in a marketing and advertising agency, where creativity and personality are promoted, I can afford to have more fun with my clothing and wear stuff I wouldn’t have been able to wear at my past corporate jobs. So when I came across this colorful floral tunic I immediately saw potential in it. I could wear it to work with a pair of black pants, with a pair of cutoff denim shorts in the summer, with my favorite boyfriend jeans in the spring, or as a beach cover-up on vacation; the options seem endless. I am a firm believer that if you can pair a clothing item with at least two different outfit options then it is worth the buy and in this case I saw four! Oh, and it was on sale so that in itself was enough reason for me to buy it.
