Since moving into our new home I now have my own space in which I call my “Cl-office”. This is where my closet meets my office, or is it the other way around?! Since having this extra space, my mind has been on cloud nine when it comes to displaying my jewelry, shoes, and clothing; I mean after all, I’ve dreamt of a space like this since the days of watching Sex And The City! As of recently I’ve noticed some of my favorite jewelry pieces not getting the attention they deserve because most of it still sits in my jewelry boxes post apartment life. I knew I had to do something about that so I took to my entrusted friend Pinterest and searched for ideas. When I came across this cool jewelry stand I knew that it would look so amazing on the shelves in my cloffice. (Queue the D.I.Y project!) I knew that I would find the best pieces for my project within the shelves of some of my favorite thrift stores so that is where I went. It took some time searching for the perfect sized plates but the candle holder, I found that instantly! (And I was geeked) I chose vibrant colored plates but you can use whatever your heart’s desire. I am so happy with how it turned out and I cannot wait to begin placing some of my favorite jewelry pieces on it.
