One of my favorite trends for the fall and winter season is the blanket scarf. Being warm is a must for me because I live in Ohio but I also don’t want to sacrifice my style just to be warm. Unfortunately, that is easy to do when its 20 degrees outside and all I want to wear is sweat pants and a hoodie (must.fight.the.urge). Needless to say, throwing a blanket scarf over an otherwise basic sweater can really elevate your look. This blanket scarf was gifted to me last Christmas and has been my go-to for the days when I need to throw together a casual, layered look.
Since we had a peak in the temps this past week (high 55, whoo hooo!) I was able to skip the winter coat and throw my scarf around me like a cover-up. Of course, I can’t get my hopes up too much as I know the cold weather will return and it’ll be back to wrapping up in my scarf like a Chipotle burrito! So, here’s to that little taste of spring on Friday and my versatile blanket scarf.
